H.O.M.E
Holly's Haven isn't just a living facility, it's a H.O.M.E.
At Holly's Haven, we strive to bring abundant life to our residents. The life Christ desires for each of us. Here's how we can help make that promise a reality:
• H – Honoring Christ. Psalm 127:1 says that "Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." This tells us that God must be the founder and leader of the home, or it won't stand. Our home is grounded on biblical principles, guided by Godly discernment, rooted in Jesus Christ, and sustained by prayer and petition.
• O - Offering Opportunities. Luke 14:13-14 says 'But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” Our home recognizes that many of our residents are unable to do the things that their neuro-typical peers can do. We'd like to change that. At Holly's Haven, we would like to be involved in many growth-oriented activities. Spiritually, socially, physically, and relationally.
• M - Making Disciples. Matthew 28:19 commands us "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" At Holly's Haven, our residents are image-bearers, just like us. We have been tasked with teaching, instructing, equipping, encouraging, and partnering with our very own brothers and sisters living right here in our home. Together, we can glorify God by helping and caring for our community.
• E - Enriching Lives. John 10:10 tells us "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. " Holly's Haven will be structured to usher in that very life with daily times of worship and biblical teaching, paired with relationship building activities between the residents and staff.
